A fixed mount is fastened to the ceiling with screws. The pole itself can be removed from the mount at any time — loosen the locknut, release the tension thread, and slide the pole out. Choosing the FIXED MOUNT option includes the tension ceiling plate plus the fixed mount

Assembly and removal using the floor base and large ceiling plate is straightforward. You can do it yourself by following these five steps
Place the floor base where you want to install the pole
Choose the extensions that match your ceiling height and screw them together
Extend the tension thread from the top section, slide on the ceiling plate, and tighten until the pole is firmly braced between floor and ceiling
Tighten the locknut to prevent loosening during use
Switch spin options at the base by removing the set screw with the Allen key. Screws must be fully removed
Mounting type by ceiling structure
Concrete ceiling — fasten the ceiling plate/fixed mount with concrete anchors. A chemical anchor may be used
Wooden ceiling/beam — fix the plate with wood screws. If drilling into a beam, ensure it’s not structural (i.e., not supporting the roof). Structural beams must not be compromised
Steel beam/I-beam — if non-structural you may drill; for I-beams use a clamp that doesn’t damage the beam (custom clamps available)
Suspended ceiling — do not mount directly to a drop ceiling. Cut through and fix to the solid ceiling above

The chrome folding pole features two training modes: static and spin. Switching between them only takes a moment – simply tighten or loosen the screws at the base with the included hex key.

How long does it take to install or remove the pole at home?

Which pole should I choose – folding or one-piece?
For home training and portability, a folding chrome pole is the best option. If you own a pole dance studio or train intensively, a one-piece pole is more suitable as it offers maximum stability and professional durability.
Which pole diameter should I choose – 42 mm or 45 mm?
Standard diameters are 42 mm and 45 mm. Folding chrome poles are only available in 45 mm. If you train in a studio on 42 mm poles and want consistency, a one-piece 42 mm model is better. For competitions, 45 mm is recommended as it’s widely used, and adapting from 45 mm to 42 mm is easier than the reverse.
What is the difference between one-piece and folding poles?
One-piece poles are professional-grade, designed for studios and heavy use. They have no joints, include dual bearings for smoother spin, and offer the highest stability. Folding poles are modular, more affordable, and practical for home fitness. They are stable for recreational use but require more checks with frequent training. Both come in chrome or powder-coated finishes, with prices reflecting their durability and intended use.
What is the maximum and minimum ceiling height for a folding chrome pole?
Folding chrome poles fit ceilings from 225 cm up to 270 cm as standard. With extra extensions, you can reach up to 320 cm, though stability is best ensured with a fixed ceiling mount. For ceilings slightly under 225 cm, a shorter version is required.
Is a folding pole stable during dynamic spins and tricks?
Folding poles are safe and stable enough for beginners and recreational training. However, advanced tricks and very dynamic spins may highlight differences compared to one-piece poles. For higher-level practice, investing in a one-piece pole is recommended.
How do I mount the pole to a concrete ceiling – do I need chemical anchors?
For concrete ceilings under 3 m, a tension-mounted plate is sufficient. For added security, a fixed mount with expansion bolts or chemical anchors is recommended, ensuring maximum stability during intense workouts.
Can I install a pole on a suspended ceiling?
No, a pole cannot be mounted directly to a suspended ceiling as it lacks the strength. You must create an opening and secure the mount to the structural ceiling above.
Can a folding pole be fixed permanently to the floor or ceiling?
Yes, it can be fixed permanently to the ceiling with an optional mount. For the floor, modifications are needed, as the standard base has no screw holes. After adjustment, the pole can be securely fastened at both ends.
How should I clean a chrome pole to maintain grip?
Clean the pole with a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water. Avoid using only water to prevent rust, and don’t overuse pure alcohol to protect the chrome surface. Regular cleaning ensures lasting grip and extends the pole’s life.
