Important Information for Customers from Europe

If you are purchasing a pole dance pole from outside Poland or from another European country, we strongly recommend choosing our newer and more intuitive model:
Flex Pole – next-generation removable pole .

Flex Pole was designed to minimize installation errors and provide a much smoother experience for customers buying equipment remotely.

Why this model is not recommended for international customers

This pole is based on an older, classic pressure-mounted construction that requires precise installation and a good technical understanding of how the expansion system works. In practice, it is very easy to install it incorrectly, especially during the first setup.

From our experience, many reported issues are not caused by a product defect but by incorrect installation. When the product is purchased internationally, explaining these details remotely can be difficult, even with photos or videos. Language barriers and technical nuances often lead to frustration on both sides.

This model does not tolerate installation mistakes. It requires accuracy, patience, and prior experience with pressure-mounted poles.

Our recommendation

If you are ordering from outside Poland, do not have experience with pressure-mounted poles, or simply want a more forgiving and user-friendly solution, we strongly recommend choosing Flex Pole. It offers a more intuitive setup, greater stability, and significantly fewer post-installation issues for international customers.

Foldable chrome pole dance pole 45 mm – a proven classic for getting started

For many years, this was our number one pole for home training. This is the model that hundreds – actually, thousands – of girls started their pole dance journey on: in apartments, dorms and rented rooms, anywhere simple installation and a reasonable price mattered.

It’s a classic, foldable pressure-mounted pole based on a design that was an industry standard for years and is still widely available today – including on popular marketplaces such as Allegro or Temu. It does its job well when you’re learning the basics, which is exactly why it remained the first choice for home workouts for so long.

Today, with a newer reinforced pole dance pole model already in our range, this pole is still a solid option for beginners – but it’s worth knowing how it differs from the newer-generation design.

What hasn’t changed – because it simply works

The core of the pole – the extension system and the chrome grip surface – are solutions that proved themselves over the years, which is why they were also retained in the newer model.

Thanks to the extensions, you can fit the pole height to your room and, if you move, take it with you and install it in a new place without any issues. That mobility was one of the reasons this model worked so well for home use.

The chrome finish delivers fast, classic spins – exactly the feel many people associate with their first pole sessions. It’s smooth and fairly slippery, so at the beginning you’ll often want to use grip aids to improve hold.

Why do we call it a “design dinosaur”?

Because it still uses solutions that were the market standard for a long time – and that you’ll still find in many poles sold online – but today we know they can be built better and remain more stable over long-term use.

Switching spin/static mode with a screw

In this model, you switch modes by tightening or loosening a screw in the lower base. This is a system that was the most common in foldable poles for years and is still widely used in many marketplace models (e.g., Allegro or Temu).

With moderate training it works fine, but with frequent mode switching and more intensive use, the threads can wear over time and the mode change becomes less precise than it was at the start.

In the new reinforced pole, we moved away from this system in favor of a pin, which is more durable and less prone to wear.

Fixed upper dome

In this version, the upper dome is fixed, without a pivoting bearing. This means the pole performs best when both the ceiling and the floor are level and stable.

In those conditions, everything works as it should. However, if the ceiling has slight unevenness, getting a perfect vertical position can be more difficult, and during more dynamic elements the pole may “work” more.

In the new model, the upper dome includes a pivoting bearing that helps it adapt to the ceiling and increases overall stability – especially in typical home conditions.

Who is this model best for today?

This model is still a great choice if:

  • you’re just starting out and want to see if pole dance is for you,
  • you want the lowest-cost way to start training at home,
  • you have good installation conditions – a level ceiling and a stable floor,
  • you train recreationally, without highly dynamic and strength-heavy combinations.

It will comfortably take you through the basics, strength building and your first tricks.

And when is it worth choosing the new, reinforced version right away?

If you know you’ll train intensively, have uneven room conditions, or simply want equipment that gives you a bigger stability margin for the future, the new reinforced foldable model will be a better choice.

In the new version:

  • mode switching is done with a pin, not a screw,
  • the upper dome has a pivoting bearing and adapts better to the ceiling,
  • the bases are closer to the construction of professional studio poles,
  • the entire structure handles dynamic training better.

It’s still a foldable pole for home use – just in a version that’s more resistant to intensive use and more challenging installation conditions.

  • Skill level: designed for beginners.
  • Certification: compliant with EN ISO 20957-1:2023.
  • Country of manufacture: China.

*Permanent mount is not included in the offered set. It can be purchased separately by selecting the appropriate option from the dropdown menu. For heights above 280 cm, we recommend installation using a permanent mount. A taller pole installed with only the pressure plate may “pop” during use.

The permanent mount is a component that is screwed into the ceiling using bolts. The pole itself can be removed from the mount at any time and placed aside. To do this, loosen the locking nut, release the pressure thread and slide the pole out of the mount. By choosing the PERMANENT MOUNT, you receive both the pressure ceiling plate and the permanent mount.

Extensions included in the sets

The number and length of extensions depend on the selected set, which must be suitable for the room height where the pole will be installed:

  • Room height: 2.25 - 2.72 m — extensions included: 100 cm, 100 cm, 25 cm, 12.5 cm.
  • Room height: 2.25 - 2.84 m — extensions included: 100 cm, 100 cm, 25 cm, 12.5 cm, 12.5 cm.

For pole dance schools we recommend single-piece poles:

Installing the foldable pole dance pole

Assembling and disassembling the set consisting of the floor base and the large ceiling plate is very straightforward. You can do it yourself by following the 5 steps below:

  1. Place the lower base on the floor where you want to install the pole.
  2. Choose the extensions that allow you to install the pole to match your room height, then screw them together.
  3. Unscrew the pressure thread from the last extension, fit the upper plate, and tighten the thread until the pole is firmly secured between the ceiling and the floor.
  4. Tighten the locking nut to prevent the pole from loosening.
  5. Switch to spin mode at the base by removing the bolt with the Allen key. The bolts must be fully unscrewed.

Mounting method depending on your ceiling type.

  • Concrete ceiling – installation involves securing the ceiling/permanent mount to the concrete ceiling using concrete anchors. A chemical anchor can also be used.
  • Wooden ceiling/beam – attach the bracket to the ceiling using wood screws. If you plan to drill into a beam, make sure it is not load-bearing, meaning the entire roof is not supported by that beam. If it is, you must not damage it.
  • Steel beam / I-beams – if the beam is not load-bearing, you can drill into it. If it is an I-beam, you need to use a clamp that does not damage the beam (we make clamps to order).
  • Suspended ceiling – you cannot mount directly to a suspended ceiling. You need to cut an opening in the suspended ceiling and mount to the structural ceiling above.

If you are not sure how to correctly install the pole, hoop or silk, please contact us. The methods above are suggestions only. Please remember that the installer is responsible for the installation and must choose the type and method of mounting to match the conditions.

Each pole comes with an installation manual and the necessary Allen keys. If you are worried you won’t manage, watch the video showing a self-installation and it will clear up your doubts — instructional video.

USER MANUAL

  • Chrome-plated or powder-coated? Which pole finish should you choose?

As standard, the pole has a chrome-plated finish, recommended as a classic choice for beginners. However, if you want better grip, you can choose a powder-coated pole dance pole. This version works especially well at home, where we often don’t do a proper warm-up and training conditions are different than in a studio. It’s also important to choose a finish that matches what you train on at your pole school.

  • How do I choose the right height of a foldable pole dance pole for my room?

To choose the correct height, first measure the distance from floor to ceiling in several places, as small differences can matter. The foldable M-pole fits the standard height range of 225–270 cm thanks to extensions and an adjustable pressure thread. It’s important that, during installation, the thread is screwed at least 5 cm into the pole to ensure stability and safety. If your ceiling is higher than 270 cm, you can purchase additional extensions, and if it’s lower than 225 cm, you should choose a pole version designed for a lower ceiling.

  • Does the pole set include additional extension lengths to fit my ceiling height?

Yes, each foldable pole dance pole is sold with extensions that allow you to match the pole height to your specific space. You assemble as many sections as needed, and the remaining difference is adjusted using the pressure thread.

  • What are the lengths of the individual components in this model?

The set includes 100 cm, 25 cm and 14 cm sections, plus the base with the pressure thread. This makes it possible to precisely fit the pole to different ceiling heights, and installation is quick and simple.

  • How do I switch the pole from static to spinning mode, and are tools required?

The foldable chrome pole has two modes: static and spin. You switch modes by tightening or loosening the bolts located in the base. It only takes a moment and requires the Allen key included in the set.

  • What is the load capacity and durability of the foldable chrome pole?

The foldable pole can handle a dynamic load of up to around 150 kg, making it safe for beginners and intermediate users. However, correct installation and regular checks are essential.

  • How long does it take to install and remove a pole dance pole at home?

Installation and removal usually take 10–15 minutes. Thanks to the modular design, the pole can be easily disassembled and stored, which is especially convenient for home training.

  • Chrome-plated or powder-coated – which pole should you choose for home?

A chrome-plated pole dance pole is a classic choice for beginners, offering good durability and versatility. If you want more hand grip, consider a powder-coated pole, which can be especially helpful for home training.

  • Can the foldable pole be used outdoors in the garden?

The foldable chrome pole is not intended for outdoor use, as moisture and changing weather conditions can reduce its lifespan. For garden training, a garden pole or summer pole is a better option, as it is designed for outdoor conditions.

  • Can I mount an aerial hammock or fly grip to a foldable pole?

Yes, you can attach a hammock or fly grip to any pole dance pole using the appropriate mounts. This allows you to combine pole dance with aerial training and add variety to your workouts.

  • Can I return the pole if it won’t be used, and what are the return conditions?

Yes, the pole can be returned if it has not been used. Return shipping costs are covered by the customer.

  • Is a foldable pole suitable for pole dance schools and studios, or only for home use?

The foldable chrome pole is intended mainly for home and recreational use. For pole dance schools, where training takes place daily, we recommend single-piece poles or the fast pole system, which provide greater stability and durability.

  • Which pole dance pole should I choose: foldable or single-piece?

If you train at home and want portability and don’t need expensive professional equipment, choose a foldable chrome pole. If you run a pole dance school or train intensively, the best choice is a single-piece pole, which guarantees maximum stability and durability.

  • Which pole diameter should I choose – 42 mm or 45 mm?

Standard pole dance diameters are 42 mm and 45 mm. Foldable chrome poles are available only in 45 mm, so if you want a foldable pole for home, you need to choose this diameter. However, if you train at a pole school on a 42 mm pole and want full consistency in your training, you should choose a single-piece 42 mm pole. Training at home on 45 mm and at a studio on 42 mm can feel different, because the wider diameter requires a stronger grip. If you are preparing for competitions, 45 mm may be the better choice, because competitions use both 42 mm and 45 mm, and it is generally easier to switch from 45 mm to 42 mm than the other way around.

  • What is the difference between a single-piece and a foldable pole dance pole?

A single-piece pole is the professional choice for pole dance schools and intensive training. Thanks to its one-piece construction without joints, it eliminates the risk of parts loosening during use, and an additional locking screw with a spring helps prevent the pole from working loose. It features a double-row bearing that provides maximum stability and smooth spin performance, and switching between static/spin is conveniently done with a pin. The plate with an adjustable bearing adapts to ceiling unevenness, ensuring quiet and stable operation. Single-piece poles are available in 42 mm and 45 mm diameters, made from polished stainless steel or powder-coated steel. It’s a higher investment, starting from around 1200 PLN, but it delivers the highest quality and durability. A foldable pole is a more budget-friendly option for beginners and home use. Its modular design includes joints that, with frequent and intensive use, require checks. It uses a thrust bearing that provides stability sufficient for home workouts, and switching between static/spin is done by unscrewing bolts, which takes a little longer. The standard diameter is 45 mm, and the material is chrome-plated steel, which is more slippery than stainless steel. The price of a foldable pole starts at around 480 PLN and it’s an attractive option for recreational home training.

  • What is the maximum and minimum room height this foldable pole fits?

This foldable chrome pole dance pole is designed for rooms from 225 cm to 270 cm as standard. If you need a slightly lower height, by around 5 cm, you can install the pole using a permanent mount. The maximum height achievable with this model is 320 cm, but installing it only with the pressure ceiling plate is not recommended, as the pole consists of several joints and may be less stable at that height. To install the pole higher, you need to purchase additional extensions, which are available separately in the store.

  • Is a foldable pole stable during dynamic tricks and spins?

A foldable pole is reasonably stable and safe for beginners, which is why it works great for your first home workouts. However, during very dynamic tricks and intensive use, you may notice a difference compared to a single-piece pole. If you train more often and at a higher level, it’s worth considering investing in a professional single-piece pole, because while a foldable pole is practical, it is not top-tier professional equipment.

  • How do I mount the pole to a concrete ceiling, and do I need a chemical anchor?

If the concrete ceiling is level and under 3 meters high, you can install the pole using the pressure ceiling plate. For additional safety, however, a permanent mount is always recommended. It is screwed into the ceiling using expansion anchors or a chemical anchor. This solution guarantees maximum stability during intensive training.

  • Can I mount the pole to a suspended ceiling?

Pole dance poles must not be mounted directly to a suspended ceiling, because it does not have sufficient load capacity. In this case, you need to cut an opening in the suspended ceiling and attach the permanent mount to the structural ceiling above.

  • Can a foldable pole be screwed permanently to the floor or ceiling?

A foldable pole can be permanently fixed to the ceiling using an additional mount. As for fixing it to the floor, it requires drilling holes in the base, because the standard version is not designed for this. With the appropriate modification, however, it can be securely mounted to both the ceiling and the floor.

  • How should I care for a chrome pole to maintain grip?

It’s best to clean the pole with a 50/50 alcohol and water solution. Too much water can cause components to rust, while too much alcohol can accelerate wear of the chrome surface. Regular cleaning helps maintain proper grip and extends the pole’s lifespan.
