In practice, you only need three basic elements to hang a hoop: one strong carabiner, a durable sling, and the hoop itself. That is enough to start training. A swivel can be added, but it is not essential — especially if only one person is training and the practice does not involve intensive spinning.

Important!
The sling or daisy chain (height adjuster) must always be attached to the hoop using a carabiner. They must never be hung directly on the mounting point or on the sharp tab of the hoop, as this may cause the material to wear through over time. Always inspect your equipment regularly before use. Use the tie method shown in the instruction manual or add an additional carabiner.
What is the difference between the BASIC and PRO sets?
The PRO set additionally includes a swivel (rotating bearing) and a second carabiner. The BASIC version includes the essential elements required to hang the hoop safely, while the PRO version expands the system with smooth spinning capability.
What does the swivel in the PRO set do?
The swivel is a rotating bearing mounted above the hoop that allows it to spin continuously around its axis. Thanks to this, the sling does not twist during training, and the movement remains smooth and controlled.
Is a swivel necessary?
It is not required to hang the hoop, but it significantly improves training comfort — especially if you perform many spinning figures. If you want dynamic training with spins, the PRO set will be the better choice.
Why should you tape the hoop?
Tape absorbs moisture and sweat, which prevents your hands from slipping on the hoop and makes the grip more stable and controlled. This is especially important for figures that require solid support and during longer combinations. Cotton tape is also noticeably gentler on the skin than bare metal. It reduces discomfort during prolonged contact with the hoop and eliminates the “cold metal” feeling during training. In addition, tape is available in many colors, allowing you to match the hoop to your studio aesthetics or personal preferences.
Can a swing mount be used to hang an aerial hoop?
Yes, a mount designed for a swing can be used — provided that it is a strong load-bearing mount installed in the structural (main) ceiling, not in a suspended ceiling. The most important factor is that the mounting point is designed for dynamic loads. Aerial hoop training generates significantly greater forces than simple static hanging. During tricks and transitions, dynamic loads act on the mounting point from different directions. Whether you use a swing mount or a dedicated aerial rigging point, it must be stable, properly anchored, and designed for dynamic load use. Safety in aerial acrobatics always begins with a solid mounting point.

If your order contains both small items and large ones (e.g. poles, mats, aerial hoops), you will pay only for the delivery of the larger products — we will pack the smaller ones together with them so that you do not incur additional costs.
